Fabienne Thomas

Painter

For her, art is a journey, the best form of therapy. It brings her joy and peace of mind. Creativity is essential to her life, opening doors to a world where anything is possible. The life around her is an endless source of inspiration, and as a sensitive person, she is particularly exposed to and receptive to it.

Her main theme is eco-anxiety, reflecting her deep concern about the state of the planet and the emotional impact of environmental crises. Through her work, she explores feelings of fear, hope, and urgency, channeling them into vibrant and evocative paintings.

She found in Intuitive Painting the perfect mode of expression for her deepest feelings, explored through dreams and meditation. This practice offers her a vast playground, a deep connection to her intuition, and, most importantly, has taught her to be gentle with herself.

Her technique focuses on the blending and complementarity of bold and soft colors, reflecting the movements of life—no end, just the mixing of infinite energies. She prefers using acrylics and soft pastels, which involve fewer chemicals, creating a lighter scent and easier, safer cleanup. Sometimes, she incorporates mediums or plaster, enhancing either the fluidity or the thickness of the movement in her work.

For her, using her fingers is an obvious choice. The touch, the expression through her hands, is an essential part of her creative process. The energy of broad movements is also conveyed through large brushes, spatulas, and rollers, which nourish her creativity.

Sharing her art with others is both a challenge and a great reward. "Exposing oneself" can be risky, but it is also a comforting and reassuring experience. Welcome to her world, a world where everything is possible!

Her first exhibition will take place in 2025.
